Jacques N. Parenteau
Retired

An attorney since 1991, Jack Parenteau’s practice has focused on all aspects of insurance related issues. Mr. Parenteau has written several articles on insurance topics from “Combatting Kickbacks” to “Medical Clinic Investigations.” His articles have been published by Awareness Magazine and SIU Today.

He has represented insurers and their insureds before state and federal courts in R.I.C.O. recovery actions, subrogation, coverage litigation, arson, automobile bodily injury, bad faith, body shop disputes, construction, PIP/MEDPAY litigation, medical clinic investigations, rental/leasing companies, valuable items, and workers’ compensation litigation.

Mr. Parenteau has experience in appellate matters, with written decisions from the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, and other state appellate courts.

Educational Activities & Presentations

Mr. Parenteau is an active member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP). He has been recognized by the New England Chapter of NASP for his contribution to its educational seminars.

He is also an active member of the New England Chapter of the International Association of Special Investigation Units, and has been General Counsel to the Chapter for several years.

He is a frequent lecturer at local, regional, and national conferences. He has been a featured speaker at:

• The New England Chapter of the International Association of Special Investigation Units
• The Northeast Chapter of the International Association of Auto Theft Investigators
